ENTRY NUMBER 3: THE MORE THE MERRIER
As the saying goes "NO MAN IS AN ISLAND". Do you know why? Because we are created as social beings. I am not against loners but the thing is in one way or another, we seek for someones help. Right?
I can also say the same with business. This term is called leverage.
Leverage????? Quite technical isn't it?

If you will look at the dictionary you will find something like this
lev·er·age (lvr-j, lvr-)n.
1.
a. The action of a lever.
b.The mechanical advantage of a lever.
2.Positional advantage; power to act effectively: "started his . . . career with far more social leverage than his father had enjoyed" (Doris Kearns Goodwin).
3. The use of credit or borrowed funds to improve one's speculative capacity and increase the rate of return from an investment, as in buying securities on margin.tr.v.

As i have said before, it's very technical (you have been warned!!! mwuahaha!!!)
Ok be not afraid i would like to point out that LEVERAGE IN BUSINESS can be most likely associated with the highlighted statement number 2.
Now you might ask (Hey Wil, what do you mean by "Power to act effectively?" Well that's how leverage works.
How will you work effectively in the business???
I noticed that every business requires interacting with people. It is because business literally requires working with people. The difference is you will handle them to do certain tasks. You cannot do anything by yourself right?
Let me give you a scenario........
A restaurant owner has decided to expand by franchising, that is LEVERAGE.
A sales agent trains 6 people to do the same job for him and upon closing a deal, gets his commissions. that's LEVERAGE.
A lay leader decides to teach his members on how to deliver seminars for him, that is LEVERAGE.
YOU WILL NOTICE THAT LEVERAGE HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH DUPLICATION.
THIS SIMPLY MEANS THAT IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE YOUR BUSINESS YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TEACH OTHERS HOW TO DO IT AND AT THE SAME TIME SAVES YOUR TIME IN DOING OTHER THINGS.
To sum it up .............. LEVERAGE simply means working smart!
What is the difference between working hard and working smart?
working hard requires 100% effort, working smart requires 1-5% effort, this means using your remaining time to do other things
working hard means working for money, working smart means letting money work for you
working hard promotes "I can do it" mindset, working smart promotes "If I can do it, i can teach others to do it as well"
Don't go RAMBO SOLO on your talents, choose the right people to do the work for you, USE LEVERAGE!!!
