ENTRY NUMBER 12: KNOWING HOW MONEY WORKS
Being Financially Free means that you have the knowledge or expertise.
This means Financial Education
Unfortunately for us, this type of education is scarce nowadays.
That is why few people are rich
I think you have encountered this a lot of times, but for those of you who didn't remember..... don't fret, I will give you an example (Yipee!!!)
Pedro went to the store and bought 5 sandwiches worth 10 pesos each, If he has 100 pesos, How much will be left?
Well i know you can answer this right away...
But i'm not giving you a math lesson whatsoever......
You see this subconsciously telling us that money was meant for spending
Well that is right
But here's the catch, It didn't tell us how to spend it properly.
Majority of us didn't even know when to spend or not
Let me give you some questions:
1. Do you know what is your want and what is your need?
2. Do you buy stuff when you feel buying it rather than thinking if it's useful or not?
3. Are you spending more than you could save?
If you answered yes to some of those, It looks like you are having a hard time knowing the difference between Assets and Liabilities
Ano daw????
I will not give you technical terms in order to make our lives easier, right?
You see, may dalawang basic na galaw ng pera, IN and OUT
You heard it right (PAPASOK at PALABAS!) alam mo yan!!!! hahahaha
To make the Story short......................................
ASSET = Anything that moves money toward you
LIABILITY = Anything that moves money away from you
Mga bagay na naglalayo ng pera
Gastusin kumbaga
Maaring may mga bagay tayo na inaakala natin na ASSET ngunit hindi pala or the other way
around.
SO YOU MIGHT ASK, PAANO KO MALALAMAN KUNG ASSET O LIABILITY ANG ISANG BAGAY?
Use my definitions above....
Example:
Cellphone
(Kung hindi pa kayo nakakakita.... duh? ng cellphone i am good enough to provide you a picture

Too bad I don't have that kind of phone hehehe...
Ok back to topic
Bakit?
Because it always causes me to spend money
thus it is a liability
BUT NOW.... I TURNED IT INTO AN ASSET
WHY?
BECAUSE I CAN USE IT IN MY BUSINESS
and kumikita ako gamit sya
So aside from neccessity, nagagamit ko siya as other source of income
I HOPE YOU GET MY POINT
IN SUMMARY, YOU MUST UTILIZE YOUR MONEY WELL,
HOW?
THESE ARE MY TIPS FOR YOU:
1. Step One : Analyze
Is it an asset or a liability?
If asset, well that's good.
If liability, Is it a necessity, If yes then you NEED it
Otherwise skip it
2. Step Two : Turn your Liability into an asset
This is the tricky part
This is where business begins
I HOPE IT COULD HELP YOU ON YOUR FINANCIAL MAKING DECISIONS
HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE
